Adult Forum meets between the 8:15 and 10:30 Sunday services from September through June. Topics vary and, in the past, have included Church history, spirituality, and forms of prayer. We have also used this time for guided studies of books and videos. Discussion can be lively and is encouraged.

During Advent, we will be praying the Gospel Reading of the day using the ancient practice of Lectio Divina. No experience is necessary. Come center your mind and heart in Christ as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Adult Education at St. Martin’s also includes opportunities for guided studies and discussions relating to the seasons of both Advent and Lent. In the past, our Lenten and Advent studies have been organized, via Zoom, in conjunction with St John’s Episcopal Church in Somerville. Advent and Lenten programs offer a time for learning and reflection during these important times in the Church year.  For Advent, we are gathering via Zoom – learn more about our Sunday evening program here.

In the future we also hope to offer programs relating to the rites and traditions of the Episcopal Church, Diocesan endeavors, and Bible reading.

We invite you to join us in discussion and contemplation.  Check Events for details on current programs and email or phone the Church office ( or 908-526-1350) if you have any questions or suggestions for new programs.

We hope to see you soon.
