Heather Agosto is our Head of Sunday Church School for children from the ages of 2 1/2 through the 6th grade. She has been instrumental in implementing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program here at St. Martin’s. CGS is an approach to the religious education of children that is rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the church and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Its purpose is to nourish the joy and nurture the existing relationship between God and the very young child.

Heather began training to become a CGS Catechist in 2005 and is now certified to lead CGS atriums for children ages 3 through 12. Along with her St. Martin’s responsibilities as Director of the Sunday Church School, she leads the Level 3 Sunday atrium.

Heather and her husband Jim, have two daughters, Erin and Sara, and live in Whitehouse Station. They have been coming to St. Martin’s since the summer of 2002 and can usually be found at the 8:15 service on Sunday mornings.
